Day 5 - July 17, 2020

Hello all. Welcome to the end. I've asked you to consider some basic writing steps (pre-writing, annotating texts, responding to texts, drafting, revising, editing) and hope that you managed to get something useful from these exercises. My biggest hope is that you see the value in working with others. As I've stated, the best essays are workshopped-- meaning that peers (friends, other students) and tutors review them and offer their feedback before the due date. It's always best to have an idea of how other people are understanding your essays before you hand them in to a professor. For the last day... no video. I invite you, instead, to send me your work. I'd love to read the final drafts of your essays so I can see the progress you've made and the effort you've put into them. I'm looking forward to bragging about you to your mentors at Project Lifeline.  Send me the final drafts at vfrancone@roosevelt.edu anytime today.  Thanks for all the effort. Vince

Welcome to day 4! Almost finished. Today's videos are meant to help with the last drafts of your essay and get you to the final assignment. Video one is here:  Video two ends with your homework: Email me at vfrancone@roosevelt.edu if you have questions.

Day 3 - July 15,2020

Welcome to day 3! We're half way through Writing Bootcamp. By now, you should have a first draft done. Today's videos are about what to do with that draft. Here's the first video, ending with an activity:  Video number 2 is available here, and ends with your homework assignment for tomorrow:  As always, feel free to email the tutors, or me, with any questions. And have your work for the tutors by 5:00 PM, please.
